We publish guest articles from software founders and CMOs with direct market experience, agency operators who serve the trades, and field service practitioners with a verifiable track record in their niche. Your byline should carry genuine authority on the subject you are writing about.
We do not publish articles from link-building agencies, SEO shops writing on behalf of clients, or contributors with no direct experience in the subject matter. We do not publish AI-generated content of any kind.
What We Publish
We look for 1,200- to 2,500-word educational deep dives, not product announcements. The formats that serve our audience best include:
- How-to guides and operational playbooks tied to specific trade business challenges
- Industry trend breakdowns with supporting data and context
- Benchmarks comparing tools, workflows, or outcomes across similar-sized businesses
- Implementation frameworks that a field service owner can act on immediately
We do not publish thinly veiled product promotions. If your article leads directly to a single software product with no genuine comparison, context, or takeaway, it is not the right fit for our audience.
Editorial Guidelines
Write for a contractor-native audience. Our readers have run crews, managed job sites, and built businesses from the ground up. They do not need buzzword preambles or consultant-speak. Respect their intelligence.
Follow these standards in your submission:
- Plain English. No jargon that obscures meaning.
- Subheadings every 200 to 300 words so readers can scan efficiently.
- At least one concrete example: a data chart, a real case, a before-and-after comparison, or a screenshot. Abstract advice alone does not land.
- First-person experience preferred. Write about what you have observed, measured, or done. Aggregated research and comparative analysis are also acceptable.
- US spelling throughout.
- Target word count: 1,200 to 2,500 words.
Author Byline and Link Policy
Every accepted contributor receives a 2- to 3-sentence bio and a headshot in their author profile. You will receive one dofollow link to your website domain in the byline and one additional dofollow link inside the article body if it is contextually relevant to the content.
Authors may not include affiliate links, tracking links, or promotional links to paid products beyond the single approved author site link. TradeAppReviews reserves the right to add its own affiliate links to related tools mentioned in the article. We will not alter your editorial content without your knowledge.
